It is a one page comic, but it is far from simple. I am impressed with your use of dark blacks against the white of the page. The contrast really makes everything pop. That being said, I wonder how you might play with line to sink some images out of the foreground. There is a little line shading on the buildings in the first panel and some to give the characters to give them depth, but I wonder if you could extend that technique to give your comic a deeper focus. That is, how might you shade background elements to create a sense of depth?
Then again, for a one page comic, it might not be worth the time to create layers of focal depth. Maybe in your future comics?
Overall, I’m impressed with the clear lines and striking contrasts. Nice work.
